The SHCGD holds monthly meetings and sponsors a host of special events to entertain and
educate Siberian Husky enthusiasts throughout the year.
- Meetings - typically SHCGD members meet the second Wednesday of each month at
8:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 2079 12 Mile Road, Berkley. Often, a special guest talks
about a topic of interest to Siberian Husky owners or about dogs and dog related
activities in general.

Siberian Husky Sled Dog Championship
Race
- Proudly sponsored by the the Siberian Husky Club of Greater Detroit and
the Drummond Island Resort.
Sport classes available for non-registered teams. Included are a
variety of special fun prizes (i.e. oldest driver, best dressed team, all
rescue team). Don't miss the fun. For additional information contact:

- Siberian Husky Back to Back Specialty Shows -
The Specialty is a great chance for dogs and handlers to gain experience in
a fun, low-pressure atmosphere.
